Katharine Claytor

Biography
Ms. Claytor leads human resources at the holding company level for subsidiaries and joint venturesin the Insurance, Technology, Oral Health, Data Analytics and Bio-Tech industries. The best known subsidiary is Delta Dental which covers more than 2 million Virginians for their dental insurance benefits.
Ms. Claytor has been in her current role for more than ten years with oversight for strategic human resources, project management and facilities for the enterprise. She is Board Chair for the holding company's Chennai-based technology subsidiary. Corvesta company subsidiaries have proudly won Best Places to Work in Virginia awards for five years. She holds BA and MA degrees along with SHRM-SCP, GPHR and SPHR certifications and has completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program.
Prior to this role, Kathy had an HR leadership role in government. She has served on Executive HR Delegations including the delegation to South Africa and Cuba. Kathy is on the student selection panel for the Virginia Tech-Carilion Medical School and serves on the Board of the Roanoke Blacksburg Technology Council. She is a member of Women Corporate Directors and was recently recognized as one of the Top 100 Global HR Influencers in Asia.
