Karan Behl
Biography
Karan Behl is the Founder and Chief Happiness Officer at Happiitude - Asia's leading Workplace
Happiness and Well-being Company.
After graduating in economics and getting his MBA degree, he joined a multi national company, but
soon realized that it was not where his passion laid.
At the age of 26, he quit his corporate job and started his own business. This made him travel
around 21 countries and work with people from various walks of life, culture and traditions. But very
soon he discovered that success was not a guarantee for happiness. He could see people silently
going through the ordeal. This made him question the idea behind "Success leads to
Happiness".
With this curiosity, Karan embarked on a journey to figure out what comes first - Success or
Happiness?
His intrigue took him deeper down the path of experiencing and dexterity to the point where he
plunged himself into a pool of experiential journey from Spiritual masters to Science of
Happiness’s leading researchers in the University of California. It was a quest that transformed
Karan’s life.
“The world around me starting looking more brighter, just like a computer screen,” he
says. This personal transformation gave birth to Happiitude. Since then, there was no turning back.
Today, as a specialist in merging together workplace happiness with revenue, profitability and
business growth, he is famed among top global happiness and thought leader communities. He has
been speaker at Happiness & Mindfulness conferences around the globe. He has worked with more
than 50,000 people, 150 companies from 35 countries. Karan has been featured by BBC World,
Zee Business, The Weeks Magazine, Indian Express, Mid Day, TOI, The Hindu and many
other leading media platforms.
When he’s not working, you can either find him meditating, holidaying amid nature or traveling
around to explore more cultures.
