Rajani Athreya

Rajani is the HR Director – Insights Division and Country HR Leader, Kantar South Asia. She is a seasoned HR leader with over 25 years of industry experience across Banking, Securities, Information Services, Technology and Market Research.

Rajani has been with Kantar since early 2019 and works closely with the South Asia Executive Leadership and the Global HR Leadership, to drive business performance, organisational transformation and future-readiness in the South Asia region. Prior to Kantar, she has held leadership positions in multinational organisations like DBS Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Standard Chartered Securities, ANZ Grindlays Bank and Thomson Reuters.

Rajani started her career in business and moved to HR subsequently, to pursue her passion. She is a strong believer in building capability, driving performance and institutionalizing culture. She has worked with leaders across the globe and has partnered business through diverse scenarios like aggressive scale-ups, re-organization, M&A, brand-building and leadership transition. She has been a mentor and coach to individuals and teams and has a reputation of being a trusted colleague, a strategic consultant and a passionate business partner.

Rajani holds a Physics degree from the University of Madras and an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
