Supriya Sawant

A seasoned professional in Human Resources, I Supriya Sawant work for CitiusTech Healthcare Technology Pvt. Ltd. as Asst Vice President – Human Resources and head the Employee Engagement vertical here since close to 14 years now. I am proud to have been associated with this organization and being a part of their growth journey.

About my educational background, I come from a Psychology background and have done my Master's in Industrial Psychology and MBA in Human Resources. My education has always given me an upper edge to understand the human behavior and thought processes and help them resolve their issues not just professionally but also in their personal lives.

At work I love to innovate and implement new initiatives which help my employees as well as the organization at large. I have been awarded with the following accolades in my career so far: Great Indian Women Leader (GIWL) Award, Woman Innovator of the year award, T.A. Pai Young HR Leader Award, 101 Most Fabulous HR Tech Leader and Women Super Achievers Award.

As an HR leader I always wanted to do something for my fraternity, and I have been fortunate to get an opportunity to work as a Director and Managing committee member at HR Infotech Association (HRIA) which is a non-profit organization catering to HR professionals in the IT/ITES industry for over 25 years. I am also a part of Rotary Club and am working towards the betterment of the society at large.

One thought that I truly believe in is, "All of us do not have equal talent. But all of us have an equal opportunity to develop our talents."
