Temitope Azeez

Temitope Azeez leads People & Culture at PEG Africa, the largest off-grid solar company in West Africa which provides Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) asset-based financing to consumers, a global leader in People, Culture and HSE.

She is a MBA degree holder from London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom, and Certified as SHRM-CP, PHRi, MAP-Certified, CKM, Certified Executive Coach, and ACIPM.

Before taking up her role at PEG Africa, she started off as being the Head of Talent Management for Jumia Nigeria before taking the role of Cross-Country Head People and Culture for JS Big5 for the past 2 years and has developed knowledge and skills highly valuable for her new position. She launched the Jumia Mentoring Program, the JS People Committee in all Big5, facilitated the Jumia Certified Trainer Program, and pioneered the new manager/TL program track, barometer roll-out among other HR projects and initiatives like the JumiaCast, Instant tags, revamped town halls, and employee engagement program. Before taking the role of Head People, Culture and HSE management of all 12 Jumia operating countries in the Logistics arm.

She has worked in top indigenous consulting companies such as H. Pierson and Phillips Consulting as an HR consultants overseeing talent acquisition, talent development, career management, skills audit, culture change, mergers and acquisition projects amongst others where she supported a team of 20 people and lead teams of 10.

She was listed in Workforce US has one of the top 40 HR Gamechangers in 2019, and has various publications and posts, a renown national and international facilitator, a self-management journal publisher, a coach and mentor with over 14 years HR experience.

A single mum (first of four children) with two girls Kadrian (8 years) and Kaiyah (6 years). In my free time, I work on my poetry journal, make soaps, execute acrylic paintings, and watch Japanese manga, Kdrama, Cdrama, Tdramaand mentor youths amongst other things. But most importantly appreciate God for life by giving Life all the best I can for myself, children and family.
