Harshal Ruikar

Harshal Ruikar is a Total Rewards Leader of APAC region at Kyndryl, where he leads and directs the international total rewards, benefits and wellness strategy for 14 countries with over 50,000 employees in the region. He has over 13 years of experience in the hi-tech, healthcare and insurance sectors, with stints in Fortune 50 companies like IBM & United Health Group.
His core interest areas are insurance, actuarial science, business strategy and public health policy. He has a Masters degree in Public Health from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, a Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India, a Physical Therapy degree from MUHS, an Executive Certificate in Business Analytics and Big Data from IIM-K, and level 3 proficiency in Japanese language in JLPT-N3. He is also a 'LinkedIn Top Voice for Staff Development'.
He is passionate about creating value for employees and employers by designing and implementing innovative and competitive benefit programs that meet the business needs and address workforce requirements in a cost-effective manner. In his spare time, he also enjoys solving mathematical puzzles, endurance running, bird watching and learning about Japanese culture.
