Biography

Indi Seehra is the Director of Human Resources at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Until May 2014, he headed up Human Resources at the University of Cambridge. He has played a regular role is setting up international scholarships to facilitate students to achieve postgraduate qualifications at UK Universities, including the scholarship programme between the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and Cambridge University Trust.

Since April 2021, Indi has been the Chair of the European Pension Scheme (RESAVER) available to all research-based organisations in all employment sectors across the European Economic Area, including those who have a Head Office base outside of Europe such as India. This preceded his active involvement in supporting researcher mobility across Europe and the development of the HR Excellence programme through membership of European Directorate working groups. He was also the previous Chair of the CRAC Board and currently a pension trustee with them.

Indi has held a number of significant private and public sector appointments including HR Director of the Crown Prosecution Service and subsequently the National (previously known as SOCA) Crime Agency. He is an adviser to the International Bar Association's Global Employment Forum and is regularly involved in task groups looking to overcome the barriers to mobility for Researchers.

He is a regular speaker on Leadership and Organisational Change matters and is a Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
