Koshy K. Ancheril

Koshy K Ancheril is the Group Chief Human Resources Officer and Strategy Leader for Sunrise Institute of Medical Sciences, which is redefining the availability of affordable healthcare for people in the Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities of Kerala.

Koshy holds a Masters' degree in English Literature and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. He is an alumnus of Loyola College, Chennai and IIM Nagpur.

With two and half decades of HR experience and has worked in various industries viz Retail, ITeS, IT, and Healthcare which includes start up and multi-location operations.

Prior to Sunrise Hospital, he had worked with big hospital brands like Apollo Hospitals, Abeer Medical Group, Rajagiri Hospital, Aster DM Hospitals. Over the last decade, Koshy has been instrumental in setting up the HR department for 5 Greenfield Hospital projects and is currently involved in 2 Brownfield Hospital projects.

Koshy is a Leader with exposure across various aspects of HR viz HR Strategy – Planning and implementation, Succession Planning, Restructuring & Revitalization, HR Transformation, Change Management, Talent Management and Development, Organizational Development, and Diversity & Inclusion. He has developed HR teams in all organizations and has implemented HRMS and contemporary best HR practices.

World HRD Congress recognized him as a Top 100 HR Super Achiever for the year 2017-18.
