Rajeeb Chowdhury

Rajeeb Chowdhury is an established thought leader on business turnaround and profitability management. He worked as a senior management executive in the logistics sector and physically based out of Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Currently, he is engaged with AJEX Logistics in Saudi Arabia as the Head of Strategy & Transformation for the Kingdom and the company’s other entities around the globe. He is also an entrepreneur and founder of Biz Excel Consulting (Bahrain), which is operating since 2013 and involved with business transformation and consulting practice across a wide range of industrial sectors such as oil & gas, logistics, aviation, hospitality and manufacturing primarily across the Gulf region.

He got passionately involved with one of his clients from logistics sector - NAQEL Express (100% Government owned entity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), where he later also served as the Chief of Planning, Marketing & Customer Service. Under his leadership, the company witnessed a transformation from a local trucking company to a leading international express logistics player in the Middle East region with business growth of over five times within a span of seven years. Besides, he also served with DHL Express as Global Head of Strategic Pricing, based out of DHL Global Head Office in Brussels and Regional VP with the marketing function of Asia Pacific, ME & Africa based out of Singapore. In DHL, he started his career in the customer service function and later navigated through various other functions including operations, finance and marketing.

He is a graduate Mechanical Engineer from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India and a Chartered Management Accountant from CIMA (UK) and also holds an MBA from Henley Business School, UK.
