Suraj Chettri

Suraj completed his Bachelors in Sociology from Ranchi University and PGDPM from XISS in 1993 and has worked in various sectors during his career spanning 30 years. He has been a part of Bata, Bosch, GM and Textron where he was the Deputy MD for India and member of the Board. In 2011 Suraj joined Airbus India as Regional Director HR – Airbus India & South Asia and is currently responsible for the entire HR operations of the Region of South Asia and Head of Site – Bangalore Operations of Airbus India.

Under his leadership Airbus has been conferred with various awards over the years, few of the recent ones: Top organization with Innovative HR Practices by APAC HRM Congress, National Best Employer Brand by CHRO Asia. Dream Companies to work for by the World HRD Congress, Top 5 Most Innovative practice’s in DivHERsity Policies & Top 20 Most Innovative practice’s DivHERsity Awards in various categories and Golden Feather for Best HR Company to Work For.

He is a life member of NHRD, ISTD and NIPM and is a regular speaker at all major Business Schools, Seminars and Conferences on various subjects not limited to Human Resources.
